GroceryBilling Terms of Use
These terms govern use of the GroceryBilling website, application and connected grocery-store features.
1. Using GroceryBilling
GroceryBilling provides grocery-focused billing, barcode checkout, inventory, Shelf Inventory, purchases, Scan & Buy, Online Grocery Ordering, Billing Stations and related operational tools. You must use the service lawfully and provide accurate account/business information.
2. Business responsibility
The merchant remains responsible for product information, prices, taxes, invoices, refunds, customer communications, fulfilment, legal compliance and the accuracy of records used for its business. GroceryBilling is a software tool and does not replace professional accounting, tax or legal advice.
3. Local records and backups
Core merchant transactions remain local-first. Optional Cloud Receipt Backup stores completed bill details, including customer and payment data when recorded, only after merchant opt-in. You remain responsible for reviewing backup status and exporting or backing up important records. Clearing browser storage, resetting/replacing a device or removing application data can remove local information.
4. Inventory is an assistance tool, not a sales lock
Total Stock, Shelf Stock, Available Off Shelf, purchase records and stock alerts help merchants monitor inventory but do not guarantee actual physical stock. GroceryBilling intentionally allows billing to continue when recorded inventory reaches zero. Merchants should verify physical inventory and correct stock records when needed.
5. Taxes and reports
Tax calculations, GST/sales-tax settings, reports and exports depend on merchant configuration and entered data. The merchant is responsible for confirming applicable tax rules, rates, filings and statutory requirements with an appropriate professional or authority.
6. Cloud and connected services
Authentication, business/catalogue configuration, Billing Station authorization, Scan & Buy, Online Ordering and other connected features may rely on internet access and third-party cloud services. Availability can vary, and temporary interruptions should not be treated as a guarantee of continuous service.
7. Customer orders and Scan & Buy
GroceryBilling provides software for receiving or presenting customer requests/orders; the merchant remains responsible for accepting, preparing, pricing, fulfilling, cancelling or refunding those transactions and for communicating with its customers.
8. Mart trial plans, capacity and promotional access
GroceryBilling may offer a 30-day trial, complimentary promotional capacity and optional future paid capacity. Current limits, inclusions and promotional terms are shown in the product/pricing interface and may evolve. Selecting a complimentary plan without providing payment authorization does not create an automatic charge. Existing merchant data should not be automatically deleted solely because a capacity entitlement changes.
9. Acceptable use
Do not misuse the service, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with other users, use GroceryBilling for unlawful activity, circumvent security controls, or copy/reverse-engineer protected service components except where applicable law expressly permits it.
10. Intellectual property
GroceryBilling software, branding and original service materials remain protected by applicable intellectual-property rights. Merchants retain responsibility for and rights they lawfully hold in their own business/catalogue content.
11. Availability, changes and suspension
We may maintain, improve, change or discontinue features and may restrict access where reasonably necessary for security, abuse prevention, legal compliance or service integrity. We will aim to avoid unnecessary disruption to ordinary merchant operations.
12. Disclaimers and liability
The service is provided on an as-available basis to the extent permitted by law. GroceryBilling does not warrant that software-generated inventory, tax, reporting, ordering or operational information will always be complete or error-free. To the extent permitted by applicable law, GroceryBilling is not responsible for indirect or consequential business losses arising from use of, inability to use, or reliance on the service. Nothing in these terms excludes rights or liabilities that cannot legally be excluded.
13. Ending use
You may stop using GroceryBilling at any time. Because detailed records may be local to your device, export information you need before clearing app/browser data. Requests concerning cloud account/business information can be sent to support.
14. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the service evolves. The current version/date will be published here, and material changes may require renewed acceptance where appropriate.
15. Applicable law
These terms operate subject to applicable law and mandatory rights in the user's jurisdiction. Any specific governing-law or dispute terms adopted by GroceryBilling will be stated clearly rather than inferred from the user's market selection.
